2011 Hoops for Hope Event

"Thanks to all of you who played and/or participated in our inaugural Hoops For Hope 3v3 basketball tournament on March 19-20, 2011..  

With over 90 teams and 370+ players, the event is one of the largest 3v3 basketball tournaments in Northern Illinois.  We'd specially like to thank our 160+ volunteers who gave so much of their time and energy over 2 days.  To all of our friends, the student volunteers from GNHS and GCHS, the high school staffs and administration who supported our casue, we owe you a HUGE thanks.  Without them, there would have been no tournament. 

We'd also like to thank all those who donated to 12 Oaks as part of our event.  We are already starting to provide grants to individuals and organizations and fulfilling our mission of keeping kids involved in the activities they love.  Stay tuned for more information on our grant-in-aid programs.

We hope everyone enjoyed the weekend of basketball and friendly competition and thank everyone for helping to generate over $20,000 in registration fees & donations.  Mark you calendars now for October 7, 2011 for our next fun event ... Matt's Mile and 5K."
