Who we help
Strong kids. Strong community.
Our primary mission is to provide a resource that will help defray the cost of sports and community programs for children in families suffering from temporary financial hardship. The generous donations we receive will be allocated as follows.
To fund the sports and community programs for children in families coping with the financial hardships associated with ongoing cancer treatment.
Local sports and community organizations to assist with their grant in aid programs.
Scholarship Funding – We intend to establish 1-3 scholarships to assist a local high school athletes with college. These candidates will be selected based on academic performance, community service, and actions that honor the memory of Matt Hupp.
Hoopsters Basketball Camp
Twelve Oaks is pleased to help sponsor the Hoopsters Basketball camp. The camp will be held at St. Francis church during the week of July 11-15. Hoopsters camp is available for kids in grades 1-8 whose families are experiencing financial hardship. Camp fees are covered through community and business sponsorships. Matt would have loved this. 12 Oaks Foundation is his legacy.
Dear Steve and Julie, Thank you! Thank you! Thank you so much! Your generosity is greatly appreciated!!!! M. loved the photo activities this week and the kids are very excited about baseball starting soon. P. didn't do a fund raiser this weekend so instead our family volunteered together packaging food for starving children. I think they said that our shift of volunteers packaged almost 5,800 meals. Enjoy Spring and thank you again for your support and prayers. God Bless your family and Twelve Oaks. B&B Rising Stars -
Motto
East meets West
Hoopsters Basketball Camp - Outreach has started and we are reaching out to Children's Hospitals as well as the local sports and art organizations that come into direct contact with families struggling with these financial needs. We hope to reach and help over 80 families in 2011, as well as to assist over 20 youth organizations. |
